Games

Fifa Lite is a 3D football penalty shooter game designed for two players. Each player gets five chances to score a goal. After the first player's attempts, the second player takes their turn. The game ends when both players have taken their shots, and the player with the most goals wins. This game features realistic physics and dynamic goalkeeping to create an engaging and challenging experience.

Technical Details

  • Two-Player Mode: Engaging gameplay where two players take turns to hit the ball, fostering competitive play.

  • Trajectory Prediction: A sophisticated system that predicts and displays the ball's trajectory based on the force applied by the player, helping to strategize shots.

  • Dynamic Goalkeeper Animations: The goalie has three different animations that are triggered randomly when a ball is shot, adding unpredictability and challenge to the game.

  • Realistic Physics: Implementation of realistic physics to ensure the ball behaves naturally when kicked, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.

My Development Journey

I developed this game as a fun side learning project. In the process, I taught myself how to create a trajectory prediction system using Unity's physics system, which was crucial for providing realistic ball movement. I also learned how to develop a character controller and implement a mouse drag system to handle player input. Additionally, I integrated dynamic animations for the goalie to enhance the gameplay experience. This project was instrumental in refining my skills in game development and understanding complex game mechanics.
